Disabled Discount Pass - entitles its bearer to a 50 percent discount for use of all basic facilities, including day use parking, camping, and boat/day use parking fees at any unit of the California State Park System operated the State Department of Parks and Recreation, except Hearst San Simeon SHM.
Golden Bear Pass - any qualifying person receiving Aid to the Aged, Blind, or Disabled; any person 62 years of age or older with income limitations specified on the application form; or any person receiving aid under the applicable codes in the CalWORKS Program is eligible to receive the pass.
Distinguished Veterans Pass - honorably discharged war veterans who are residents of California with a 50 percent or greater service-connected disability, or were held as prisoners of war by forces hostile to the U.S., or recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor are eligible to receive the pass (formerly the Disabled War Veteran/Prisoner of War Pass).

Golden Access Passport (federal) - for citizens or permanent residents of the Unites States who are blind or permanently disabled. The Golden Access Passport is a lifetime entrance pass to national parks, nonuments, historic sites, recreation areas, and national wildlife refuges that charge an entrance fee. The pass admits the bearer and any accompanying passengers in a [rivate vehicle if a park has a per vehicle entrance fee.
