Services and Resources Available to SDR Clients
Resources and services available to SDR Clients include, and are not limited to:
- Priority registration and assistance with reduced courseloads
- Orientation to campus for students with disabilities
- Mobility Access Guide to CSUMB
- Notetakers (In-class peer notetakers)

Alternate Formats of texts
(Such as e-text, mp3, books on tape, braille) - Strategies for self-advocacy about disability-related needs

Liaison with Instructors, campus offices, and other community members
(including Department of Rehabilitation) -
Testing Accommodations
(Example: Quiet room, extended time, etc.) - Sign Language Interpreters and real-time captioning
- Videotranscription or captioning assistance
- Drop-In Disability Advising
- Alternative course pathways/Course Substitutions
- Adaptive Computing and assistive technology
- Accommodations for On-Campus Housing
Additionally, SDR can provide referrals to resources on campus such as:
